CARE, MAINTENANCE & TIPS TO KEEP YOUR FURNITURE BEAUTIFUL
To maintain its beauty and help it last, furniture needs the right care. We recommend dusting frequently with a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
Be especially careful to avoid scratching high gloss finishes by using a feather duster or a very soft clean cloth and wiping with minimal pressure.
TO PROTECT AND CARE FOR YOUR FURNITURE, WE RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING:
1. Avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight, as sunlight causes fading.
2. Avoid extreme changes in temperature by arranging furniture away from radiators, heat and air vents and air conditioning units.
3. Periodically rotate accessories on furniture so they do not sit in the same spot all the time.
4. Use pads, cloth or felt to protect the furniture surface hot dishes, beverages, bookends, flowerpots and vases.
5. Clean up spills immediately. Use a blotting rather than a wiping action.
6. Use a protective pad when writing with a ballpoint pen on the furniture surface.
7. Lift and place objects rather than dragging them across the furniture surface.
8. Avoid placing furniture directly under windows.
9. Use of an appropriate floor mat under furniture with casters. Failure to use such floor mats will result in caster failure and damage your floors and rugs.
Normal softening and puddling of the foam and fibers in seat and back cushions, should not be considered a defect. From time to time, your seats and back cushions will need "fluffing up" as any upholstered furniture does and should be regulated with use. Wipe all spills clean with lukewarm water and a damp cloth or sponge; blot to remove excess water; air dry. To prevent fading, keep fabric out of direct sunlight. Rotate cushions and vacuum crevices regularly. Clean all pieces simultaneously to prevent any variances in color. Professional upholstery cleaning is recommended for worse stains or spills.

TEAK & ACACIA
